"The first thing that hit me when I walked into the dorm, was the smell of feet. The room was noisy at night, with fellow residents coming in and out and there was plenty of noise from the street bellow, so one would find resting difficult if a light sleeper. My bed was comfortable, but being on the lower bunk had its disadvantages and I woke whenever the occupant climbed up and down the ladder. Apart from that, I felt like I was in a warm and safe space. My fellow room bunkers were all friendly...

"Not sure they react to what's booked with Expedia etc but after hiccup. It was alright and breakfast is free. Free tea and Internet. Beds were good enough and showers were good. Next to by byker station also, the area ain't up market but the hostel is cheap and serves a purpose,"

"Brilliant place to stay as a family, very clean and lovely place to stay, location by a private farm in the sticks you’re surrounded by grass, views, water and horses it’s beautiful. Great size accommodation and with modern kitchen and bathroom making staying here great. Located close to mainly areas, Beamish, Newcastle, Durham etc. Can’t recommend this place enough a lovely cozy warm stay."
