One female receptionist on duty spoiled our initial experience to the point of no return. We called ahead for early check in availability and were told that it would cost $50 per hour. We said we'd drive up and see what time we got there. We were there at ~ 1:45 pm. I asked what time we could check in and without even checking the availability she told me abruptly " Check in is at 3:00pm.!" I checked online, there were 7 identical rooms to mine vacant. Continental breakfast.....The bagels were rock hard. In fairness the staff took them away and brought fresh bagels. We will never stay at Diamond Mills in Saugerties again. One person at reception did that. I must say that other reception staff and cleaning staff that we encountered were great.

This is a wonderful choice if visiting the Saugerties area. It is a little pricey but it’s set in a beautiful are, has a balcony with a view and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very accommodating as well.

The rooms were spacious and clean!! The small lobby was adequate and the coffee/tea/cookies were a nice bonus. The best thing was the sunrise and view from the room. You can walk into town which is also a nice perk!
