One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

I had a terrific stay at the Amankaya Lake House lake house. From the moment I arrived, Fernando (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. He was incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with anything his guests needed. What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared—whether it was assisting people with getting around Lake Atitlán or just taking the time to sit down and play a game of Yahtzee with us, Fernando made the experience feel personal and memorable. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking—one of the highlights of the stay. Waking up to that scenery each day was something special. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming place to stay with unbeatable views and a host who truly goes the extra mile, I can’t recommend this place enough. The pictures attached are some of the amazing views around the property. The one is of the dock facing 2 volcanos (Volcán Tolimán and Volcán Atitlán). The other is of me enjoying a hammock session on the dock and the other two are views from the house. Fernando, thank you again. An absolutely incredible experience, my friend!
