The hotel room was clean and the staff attentive. Very nice breakfast.
We were greeted with a warm, friendly check in. Thankfully we were given both our rooms a couple of hours early - appreciate the flexibility from the hotel.
Filepe was extra helpful throughout our stay - suggesting places to eat, organising taxis etc. We found most of the staff to be very friendly.
Great location. A nice walk or 5 min uber to pelourinho. 30 min stroll to Barra or a quick uber ride.
Good size gym and pool. Good size bedroom. Nice breakfast. We had one dinner in the hotel restaurant and found every dish was really delicious and great value given the quality of the food. Service in the restaurant was attentive.
We would definitely return here.
Nice for a short 4 day vacation - friendly staff and the room itself was nice - more a 3 star experience. The spa and pool were nice - I had a lovely massage and spent some time in the pool, which was small but welcomed after a long day of exploring Salvador.
Wonderful property, excellent staff, excellent delicious breakfast friendly staff, I will always return and refer to friends.

I have to say I was somewhat disappointed in the hotel. The location was fairly good. The buffet breakfast was not great but hard to say what I was expecting from Salvador but overall, I give it a five or six out of 10. The seals and all the windows were blown out. The windows were gray and foggy, and the room smelled damp and wet. We had to move one of our guests or fellow travelers room because it was moldy inside.
I don’t think the hotel can really be considered a 5‑star property. The staff is good, but the hotel needs maintenance, especially the air conditioning. Also, the bathroom cleaning needs improvement — there are areas with mold. In any case, the stay was pleasant. Breakfast was good, and the customer service and security are impeccable.
Amazing staff, beautifully decorated hotel with loads of local art. Breakfast was voluminous and reflected local traditions and offered many options. It was great to be able to sit outside on a verdant patio in the shade with a breeze.
Pool was beautiful. A/C room controllable.
The only thing that was not perfect was the clear evidence of mildew/mold on the edges of the shower and shower nozzles. It's very easy to clean with vinegar in my experience. Not sure how it is missed. My colleagues mentioned the same.
Everything went great. The room was in great condition and the bathroom was always well stocked. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the food was good quality. The pool in the back was spacious and just deep enough to accommodate anyone whether you can or can’t swim.
We are a long term clients of wish. We love the hospitality always, including our service pet. We love their food, breakfast and surroundings for shopping for our house in Boipeba. Our favorite hotel in Salvador
The check in was fast and efficient. The staff was excellent; Isabella and Erik were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all questions, Erik made great recommendations for dining and sightseeing. He also had a slow draining sink in my room fixed right away.
Nice hotel, clean room. The in room safe seems pointless as it is not bolted down and could be easily carried away, it's not heavy. A big annoyance for me is that this hotel does not have wash cloths, so if you're used to that, bring your own. Otherwise, well located with decent breakfast buffet.
The overall effect of the property was wonderful, had an issue with the room, but the staff handled it to my satisfaction. Special thanks to Isabella and Rafael
I had a truly wonderful experience at Wish Hotel da Bahia. The location is ideal — close to the historic center, beaches, and great restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a perfect mix of modern comfort and classic Salvador charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Salvador!
Wonderful property, very clean and staff super polite, talking about staff Erick from front desk and Maria are the best ever .
Wonderful breakfast all Bahiana super polite and dedicated to clients needs. I will return for sure . Thanks for all .
The most amazing thing about The Wish Hotel Bahia is the staff. We checked in with two reservations—a single night via Expedia and a week with our timeshare. In an attempt to honor our request for an upgrade from a standard room, Rafael appointed a bellman to show us several options. The day after our arrival was Easter Sunday and much of the city was closed for the holiday. Henrique’s—who was an absolute delight for our entire stay—searched the internet for museums and other venues that could occupy our day. He recommended restaurants, gave us walking directions, advised us on how to stay safe, and checked on the status of our time in Salvador everyday that he was on duty. As first-time visitors to Salvador, these interactions were invaluable to us.
There are two restaurants—the one closest to the bar leaves much to be desired. We didn’t try the other, but it has great reviews. The bed was very comfortable, and our three issues with the room concerned the military school that performed drills sometimes as early as 6:45am., the shower—which was a nice size, had a shower head that only pointed toward the floor and water pooled nearly an inch deep in the back of it that had to be swept toward the drain.
