"We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Dorada Palace and had a brilliant holiday. We arrived on the 1st day of opening and were unsure what to expect but didnt need to worry. Only half the hotel was open as the other half is still being renovated but all the facilities were open. Pool area is clean and a good size, plenty of sun loungers. We were on B&B and enjoyed the breakfast...the choice increased as the hotel got busier. We only ate lunch from the pool bar once during our stay...

"The hotel is very old and in a very bad condition. Everything, including the sheets and towels, in the room was dirty. The bathroom was not comfortable. The room cleaning service never did the job perfectly (each day they forgot something, sometimes forgot to put towels, sometimes forgot to put sheets on the bed or cover the pillow). Great stay
"Very helpful staff, lovely rooms with balcony & big bathroom. Small fridge in room kept drinks very cold. Both pools were very nice. Small cafe bar in hotel square served snacks & drinks, quite expensive but as is the whole of Portaventura. Short walk in to Salou from the hotel for supermarket & bars. Very large selection for breakfast. We found the general atmosphere of the hotel very good & easy access to pop in & out of the park. Only downside is the hotel is a bit of a maze! Cant wait to visit again"
