Very pleasant hotel, nice garden. Beds comfortable and room clean. Very close to cathedral, with bells marking the time every 15 minutes. Takes some getting used to.

Such a quaint hotel and with the friendliest staff! We loved the location. Great water pressure in the shower and comfortable bed. Lovely courtyard area too.

The hotel was perfect and stunning! A real gem in a very busy part of Rome! You could sit in the courtyard 30 metres from the huddle and bustle and not hear a thing! But walk out through the vine lined private road and be in the heart of things! Staff were absolutely fantastic and I would only ever book at this hotel in Rome, with question fantastic!

From the first moment of arriving and being greeted by the staff. We were shown to our room and they made us feel very at home. The staff serving breakfast are super friendly and like to have fun. They make great coffee drinks to order. Conveniently located in the Trastevere area it 's a hidden gem.

Hotel Santa Maria is the PERFECT place to stay while in Rome. You are away from the craziness of all the people visiting Rome. The location is tucked away on a side street in Trastevere. When you walk through their gate, you are taken into the serene atmosphere of this well taken care of hotel. Service and staff were spot on. You will have the BEST Aperol Spritz at their daily Happy Hour. Will definitely be going back on my next visit to Rome.
