My boyfriend and I decided to stay here for a little get away. I had been here before in 2014 and loved it, however things have definitely not been updated since. For the most part, the workers at the reception were lovely. When we got to our room things were okay however, the clean towels had stains on them. When I undid the bed there were small hairs on the bed sheets the shower looked like it was just cleaned a little but not very well. I will say, the pool and beach area were super great and the bartenders were very friendly. Now our biggest downfall of the trip was certainly the food. When we first got there we made reservations for each night. First night- seafood coral restaurant had a pungent smell the whole time our food was not good at all we had a couple bites and left also no AC. Second night- Italian it was not too shabby very average food great wait staff though. Third night- Mexican it was pretty tasty and great staff. Last night- steakhouse very hot no AC our food took an hour and a half to come out not good. The buffets weren’t terrible but also not the best.. extremely hot and humid in there would be nice to have some AC in the dining areas. Over all we did have a nice relaxing vacation just wish the conditions could’ve been a bit different.

The pool set up was nice. The theatre set up was nice but the show were ok. The buffet place smelled horrible, the ac in the buffet was not turned on. Even though it’s indoor. The food was good but the service was not great due to the shortage of employees to handle the amount of guests. Not employees fault. It’s the resort trying to cut cost. The evening Restaurants took over 2 hours so that was uncalled for. Had a reservation at 8pm didn’t get called in until 8:40pm. The rooms are very far the from buffet, restaurant and very outdated. There’s not food by the beach in case you wanted a burger or snack, so you had to pack up go back to the buffet. The beach area had no shaded seating area at all. There wasn’t any wait staff walking around pool or beach area taking drink orders. Daily activities were limited. Definitely not a 5 star Resort Maybe 3.5
