Clean , comfy and friendly. Its not luxury but its a perfect little stay to see the local area. My partner and I had dinner and breakfast on the terrace which was lovely. Spray bug if outside - its the only place we travelled to in Jamaica i came away with some bites. Host also explained that he took over the property a few months ago and was still familiarizing and learning with the staff. I anticipate that he will look to implement a few changes in and around the property to make it more modern for guests. Orherwise, it was peaceful and one will feel engulfed in nature and beautiful scenery as wll as the excellent views of the ocean and river that was close by. The staff on-sight are very warm and willing to assist with your needs. Only take away is that the host shouod allow guests to be able to order meals such as lunch or dinner same day instead of a preorder. The menu is simple enough to be able to take a day- of order. Not just two or 3 levels but a lot. The place was very clean. The pre-arrival service was exceptional. Giving directions to the place was extremely helpful. The check in upon arrival was also great. I did not like to have to take my shoes off. It felt unnecessary and was a major inconvenience. I didn't know about it until after I booked.
