"Wi-Fi was said to be available. But it was only near the reception that it worked. We had got the impression that there was WiFi in the cabins! There wasn't. It was obvious that the place had closed down for the summer - it was very quiet (nice) and the service-people had gone home (not so nice). Beautiful place in the middle of Swedish nature at its best. "

"We spent 11 days in Kerstin's House and had a fabulous time: the house was absolutely spotless a d well equipped. The kids loved to swim in the lake or to sail out with the boat. The whole scenery is just amazing. Even though the house is located in a very quite area, lively Askersund is within a 15-20 minutes drive very we found everything for our daily live. "Very convenient for waking to restaurants and center of town sites. Unfortunately the local parking garage was being renovated so I parked at the nearby university parking lot. About 4 min. walk and 5:20pm to 9:20 am parking was under 8 USD. Ticket machine is electronic, chose language, tap credit card, enter vehicle license plate, verify plate, add time you want to park, verify time, tap card again and done. I go through this long explanation because the hotel has no parking and this should not be a huge negative. When I looked for a hotel with free parking one was on the edge of town and more expensive. Free breakfast is standard Scandinavian fare of boiled egg, breads, deli meat, cereals, yogurt …etc."
