Great hotel in super sketch area. Had trouble getting Uber/taxis to come pick us up. Used a "car service" that only accepted cash. Would probably stay here again, but only to go to a Yankees game.

Staff was unfriendly and unaccompanied - room not worth it for price point - ice machine had mold - all together we had somewhere to sleep but this was more of $140 stay and not $340

The hotel was fine, but the area around the hotel was not. Garbage eveywhere, dog crap amd spit on the sidewalks everywhere. And trying to find somewhere to sit and it was a challenge. Nice and close to Yankee Stadium but wouldn't stay there again.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and well equipped. There is a window that can be opened and a AC, which allows to adjust the temperature in the room. Breakfast was really good and many things were available fresh every day (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, oatmeal, bagels, yoghurts). The only slight downside is the area, although it is not as bad as some reviewers describe. It is not gentrified, has some good small businesses, a delicious fried chicken place and you get to see a different side of New York. I had some reservations about staying here but had a great time exploring the area. Would definitely stay again!

We were in NYC for graduation at Yankee Stadium. Walked to/from stadium, no problem. We had events in the city as well and easily took the train into the city. It took 30-40 minutes by train depending on where we were going and the time of day. The hotel neighborhood is the Bronx and has grafitti and locked stores etc, but we never felt unsafe. For reference - We walked from the D train down to the hotel at 2300 on a Thursday night and felt completely safe. Some comments mentioned noise, there is some street/subway noise, but not enough to cause us not to get a good night's sleep (we are used to a no noise environment - and good luck finding that in NYC). We stayed 3 nights and each morning breakfast was hearty and good. If you have events at Yankee Stadium or don't mind riding the train into the city and are looking for a clean, safe basic hotel with a good free breakfast and pleasant staff, I recommend this hotel.

The neighborhood around the hotel was a bit rough but the hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and secure. Their (included) daily breakfast buffet was cooked up fresh with several tasty options. The whole staff from desk to cleaning crew were all nice. The room cleaning staff made up our rooms so crisply each morning. It is just a few-minute walk from a main subway line. Rooms were pretty good at keeping out much of the street noise (both traffic and people). We had a first floor room and there were bars over the window for our safety. Highly recommend this place.

Great contact with the stuff. We had a flight canceled and we arrived one day later, I was afraid my reservation will get canceled. I let them know and all was fine. Rooms are spacious, enough for our 5 to feel comfortable. Area is pretty scarry. I felt insecure coming back late night with my wife and 3 daughters.
