"Large apart-hotel by the beach, 15 minutes scenic walk on the promenade to Nerja. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and beautiful views. The decor was slightly outdated but the apartment was particularly spacious, very comfortable and with a big bathroom. It was spotless and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis by friendly staff. "Excellent from start to finish. Stayed for one night although we have stayed before. Beautiful location, hotel, grounds, staff and restaurant. Mentioned at check in it was my wifes birthday. We went for a walk and when we came back there was a bottle of Cava in the bedroom, also when we went for our evening meal they came out with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Lovely staff and we had a really lovely time, would thoroughly recommend."

"Great stay in a perfect location. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful - they were in contact prior to check in and offered a complimentary upgrade, which was very much appreciated. The rooms are light and airy, beds comfortable and sound proofed so had a great nights sleep. The only thing missing was a facility to make a tea/coffee in the morning, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"I had a lovely 2 week stay at Rui Monica. The staff were very friendly , Food delicious lots of choice, very good entertainment in the evenings. So easy to get to the beach front from Hotel. I had a little accident were I fell and the staff were amazing so kind, caring and helpful. Antonio the manager was lovely. Thank you all for your kindness and help."

"Great location for sight seeing, can be a little noisy in the mornings. Rooms basic but nice and clean. Time of year no receptionist so checking in a little frustrating. Buffet breakfast adequate if you get up before it runs out. Most staff very nice and helpful "

"Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. Rooms and outside space are perfect for a weeks visit. Staff are nice and helpful too. It’s a quiet hotel which I really liked, although I would like such hotels to consider a policy of no babies who can disturb things with crying - luckily only one night though. I would 100% book again. Well worth the price and standards are excellent."
