The staff were friendly and helpful, however, we had an incident where we kept smelling smoke (cannabis) in our room, and it was coming from another resident who was staying directly underneath our room and woke us up around 11pm and again early in the morning. "We were visiting friends and wanted a place near their home. This was a great location so close to the tram that we could either walk to their house and feel like a local at the surrounding shops and cafes or jump on a tram and be in the heart of Amsterdam in 10-15 minutes. We always love staying away from the crowd and this was awesome. The chef prepared Dutch pancakes for me as well even though he was only making American pancakes. Great infused waters and a nice buffet. All around great experience sitting in their lobby area looking at the beautiful view from the 8th floor."
