Two things to mention: the door to the unit is very difficult to open with the key and the stairs are difficult for older people with baggage. "The two apartments are spacious, clean and situated near both local amenities and Bugibba itself. The apartments were quiet and felt very safe for our range of ages (5 to 57). "I found the property was fully equipped for my needs and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It is also in an ideal situation overlooking the bay in a quiet area but close to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get around the island using the local buses from bus stops very close to the apartment. The check in was was friendly and efficient. "Lovely to stay with Ray and Maria again; we were last there thirty years ago when our children were small. Apartment 2 is comfortable and spacious and the pool deck is surrounded by palm trees! The weather was mixed so we caught up on Amazon and YouTube series some evenings. The Santa Maria Estate is a peaceful residential area a short walk away from Central Mellieha. We used the running track most days. We hope to return and thank Maria and Ray for sharing their lovely villa with us."
