The hotel was old but on the whole well kept, but our room was small the window was frosted over so no view and only open a couple of inches. The bed was a very small double bed. On the plus side the staff were excellent and friendly. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection.

Extremely roomy and well-appointed, very comfortable stay in a great location, just a few minutes from the ferry so great for walkers. Bus stop on the block, great transportation around the island. Enjoyed the view, excellent kitchen facilities, Marks & Spencer just a couple blocks away. Would definitely recommend for value for money.

The museum was great. However the person who served us in the café was miserable and wouldn't let my wife have a scone at lunchtime even though they are on the menu and we'd all bought sandwiches, preferring to not sell her something!
