"We had a two night stay here in May. Firstly I’d like to say that the staff were superb especially Lucy who seemed to be there every second of every day looking after us checking in, out, breakfast and dinner. Thank you so much. The rooms were clean and the beds were big snd very comfortable. Excellent location in a lovejy area with shops a 2 minute walk away and the station 5 mins away to get into central Manchester. Overall a really nice stay in a nice clean hotel."

"Hotel is right in the heart of Buxton, a convenient walk from the station. It was absolutely buzzing the whole time we were there - bands both nights, live sport in the day, but with the rooms being in a separate building out the back of the pub, it was amazingly quiet after the yard had been emptied. Clean throughout, staff were friendly."

It is family owned and it is clear that the family and the staff put in a huge amount of effort to make everyone's stay as good as it can possibly be. "A definite get away from the world escape, with Peak District walking to Robins Hood stride straight from the front door. Loads of breakfast food choices laid out and a very spacious property to chill in. "

"It is situated in a quiet area and only a few minutes' walk from the centre, so it was ideal for us. It is a very clean house with everything we needed. As others have said, you need to take the owner's advice about how to park, but I got a Nissan Juke in and out of the parking space. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly when we had a query. We would definitely go back again."
