Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Checked in and found that there was construction ongoing and it was very noisy. Was given a room in the basement with a window to ground level where employees go to smoke. Wirh curtains open, anyone can look in. Also some construction work on this landing. Felt very unsafe as the window was easily accessible if left open - and since there is no AC here, the room was hot and stuffy. So the choice is safety&privacy or sweat all night.
The room was filthy. Hair on the bathroom walls, urine on the toilet seat and on the surfaces around the toilet, floor was so sticky my feet stuck to it - I had to wear sandals in the room. Sheets and towels had some stains. Black debris or dirt in the bed. Walls and doors covered in dirt and some brown splashes/smears.
The basement itself is dark, dingy and disappointing.
The pictures on Expedia are NOTHING like this room.
After seeing the disgraceful room i went back to the desk to ask if there was any other room available because mine was disgusting and felt unsafe and was told the hotel is booked all week. Expedia contacted the hotel and were told to send me to the desk in the morning to talk to a worker with authority to help with a possible refund.
No surprise, morning worker was also unable to help. Instructed me to email. Did so, no response. Expedia emailed as well. No refund to be given. Not even a response from the hotel.
Don't stay here it is a dive hotel and the owner/managers are not available for any guest complaints.
