The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and Basilica of Sainte Thérèse. Since we didn’t know much French communication was difficult. They were friendly but we didn’t get checked in like you would expect. They didn’t even seem to know that we were staying there until I showed them our information and confirmation from Expedia. Also, if you are checking out very early in the morning let them know the night before as there is no one available early to check you out. The room is decent and clean.

Terrase Hôtel à Lisieux A FUIR!!!!!

Terrase Hôtel, 25 avenue Sainte-Thérèse, Lisieux : À FUIR!!!!!!! 1.La réception nous a carrément raccroché au nez quand on s'est plaind qu'internet ne fonctionnait pas. Le wifi était tout simplement éteint mais elle nous a baratiné une fausse excuse 2.Demande de déjeuner en chambre car ma mère malade ne pouvant se déplacer REFUSÉ SANS PITIÉ 3.Test du formule petit-déjeuner : CAFÉ FROID et CROISSANTS INFECTES. Après ça, on a pas voulu tenter leur restaurant 4.Restaurant avec menus peu appétissants, trop chers, peu variés. Aucun menu pour enfant. Vous voyez des enfants manger des escargots? 5.Ils sont entrés dans notre chambre SANS MÊME FRAPPER À LA PORTE. Comme on parlait doucement, ils nous ont pas entendu parler et ils se sont dit : <>. Qui me dit qu'ils n'allaient pas nous voler? 6.MOQUETTE TÂCHÉE à plusieurs endroits 7.Ils nous ont obligés à quitter l'hôtel à 11h alors qu'il est marqué sur le site à 12h. 8.Suite à ça, on a dû attendre notre train 1h30 devant le gare au soleil avec ma mère malade 9.Tentative d'ARNAQUE lors du paiement de la chambre. Ils voulaient me faire payer +77€ mais ça n'a pas pas marché. Après ils m'ont inventé une taxe alors que sur ma réservation il est bien précisé le montant à payer toutes taxes comprises. INADMISSIBLE!!!! Ces gens sont juste des ESCROCS qui profitent des pèlerins. FUYEZ CET HOTEL!!!!!!!

A slightly odd hotel stuck in a time warp. A large free car park at the rear and a very jolly Manageress who was lovely. The hotel is old but had new bathrooms, the bed was a bit to soft for me. It is on a main road but has double glazing. There is a huge brightly lit restaurant food was good but a little expensive

広くて綺麗な部屋に、とても親切なスタッフ。手配してくださったタクシードライバーもとても親切で、不安だった一人でのタクシーを使った醸造場巡りを楽しめました。ただ、スーツケースの預かりをスムーズに行えなかったのが疑問です。後、場所が急激な坂道なので、タクシーが必須です。

Loved Lisieux...

This hotel is in a great location, just steps away from their beautiful Church. There was some kind of mix-up with the room reservation...I am a solo traveler, yet had to take a room enough for a family of 6. The picture of the hotel is slightly deceptive...the outside is picturesque...the inside is quite another story...in dire need of a much needed makeover...shabby wall paper is colorless...the carpet is threadbare...the paint is nonexistent...the food, however, is very good.

Nous avons appelé l'hotel pour confirmer notre arrivée tardive. Alors dans un premier temps et sur un ton agressif elle nous dit qu'elle n'a aucune réservation avant de se rétracter et sans excuses, ensuite lorsque nous lui disons que nous allons arriver un peu tard (vers 22h), elle nous répond et toujours sur le même ton "pas plus tard". Alors que sur leur répondeur et aussi avec la confirmation de hôtel.com, la réception est ouverte 24/24H et 7/7. Suite à cela et dans la crainte de ne pas arriver dans les temps, nous avons annulé et réservé dans un autre hôtel.

A Good Stay

This hotel is within walking distance to any of the places you want to see in Lisieux-- the basilica, Carmel, etc. The bed was old and small for two people. One person for the bed would be OK. Very pleasant staff. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The meal was fantastic. You should plan to eat dinner here. A lot of locals were there, so the restaurant obviously enjoys a good reputation. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

A comfortable stop off en route through France

A basic but very friendly and comfortable Logi. The owner helpfully changed my room from the front to the back as I thought the front, on a fairly Main Street, would be noisy. The room I had was more basic but totally adequate and very quiet. The evening meal was excellent.
