"The staff are very friendly. The rooms are airy and large. The shower is a bit of a mission to get into. The paint on the cupboard and side table is chipped and needs to be touched up. Windows open to allow fresh air as the room gets stuffy when the heaters are on. Breakfast is served quickly and the breakfast room is nicely laid out. Location is great to walk around Edinburgh."

"Great location for exploring Edinburgh, city centre is easily walkable. Arrived late due to transport issues and host was very accommodating. Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking. Other than that, great price for a very convenient location. "

"Super lovely and thoughtful hosts who were quick to respond whenever we had any issues or requests. They were even kind enough to bring a mini fridge up to our room at the last minute to accomodate all the supermarket meal deals we bought :D There were a few wobbly bits in the bathroom like the shower pole and the tap, but everything still works. The beds were immaculate and super comfortable. The location is also really great, only a 20 minute walk to the beach front and Portobello village...

"We had a great time staying here. It was clean, there were freebies like teas, coffee, shampoo and conditioner.. There towels and blow dryer as well and water heater. There were nice and accommodating I highly recommend it.. Also, they allowed us to leave out luggages for awhile after our check out time to enjoy the rest of the day. "

"Owner is very attentive. I arrived early and was welcome and showed to my room. It is very conveniently located to Stirling castle,downtown, shopping and dining. They have an excellent restaurant, unfortunately was closed during my stay. I was traveling by myself and I feel very safe during my stay. Breakfast had an excellent variety. I ordered the Scottish breakfast,was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this cute B&B. "
