A beautiful shepherd's hut in a stunning location near Castleton, Peak District

The Shepherd's Hut is an 8' x 18' spacious, light and airy bespoke crafted traditional hut benefitting from modern day comforts. With a super very private setting, looking west to Mam Tor, it has a wood burning stove, en-suite bathroom, a kitchenette area (with kettle, toaster, microwave & slow-cooker) plus terrace area with BBQ & garden furniture. It offers excellent Wi-Fi, TV and DVD.

The hut is a 15 mins walk along lanes to the pretty & historic village of Castleton.
The space
A delightfully crafted artisanal space that would make Thomas Hardy or DH Lawrence proud. It is the perfect spot from which to explore the Peak District and is ideal for those who want to walk or cycle, sightsee some of the fabulous landscapes and beautiful historic buildings of Derbyshire ....or just to relax.
Guest access
Parking is available next to the hut. The hut is a 15 minute walk to the villages of Hope and Castleton with its castle and caves to explore. It is located on the slope of Lose Hill with the Lose Hill/Mam Tor walk literally on the doorstep.
Other things to note
Spring House Farm is a 25 minute drive to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton, Bakewell and Eyam all of which are worth visiting.

Excellent hideaway in a great location
The shepherds hut is warm & cosy with everything you need for a few nights stay. It is in a great location between Hope & Castleton with perfect access to walk around Hope Valley. The views are stunning! Maeve came out to greet us & then left us to enjoy our weekend, even messaging to say we could leave whenever we liked instead of the stated check-out time. Only comment is the listing states that there is a hot tub, but we clarified that there wasn't with the host before confirming the booking.
