Enjoyed a short break over night stay room comfortable and clean - staff welcoming and helpful - bar had a good range of beers on tap enjoyed and excellent breakfast which was included in a great value price - would look to stay again if we had to fly out of Gatwick
Booked the budget single room but it was spotlessly clean and everything worked well from the TV to the bath (no shower just a hand held shower for hair). Friendly team and the Sunday roast dinner plus breakfast were nicely cooked. Decent car park and beer too. Thank you

Nice clean room, nice breakfast, good location and ample parking.
Wanted to stay in Cuckfield and this was right there. Lovely little inn. Very friendly. Comfy bed. No Ac but that’s ok we survived. Excellent food. Small town inn charm. Loved it.
We stayed here for a wedding in Cuckfields and this hotel was in a very good location for this. The hotel itself is very nice, being a lovely old building.
The room was a bit small for two people and the bathroom did feel a bit run down/shabby.
Also - while I appreciate it was a bit of an unprecedented situation, we were there in one of the heatwaves this summer and really struggled with the heat. Given the age of the building, I would not expect AC, but the fans provided were tiny so provided barely any relief. To make matters worse, there were no plugs by the bed so it wasn't even possible to plug the fan in by the bed, which made it almost unbearable to sleep in.
We ate here on one of the nights and the food was lovely, with helpful staff as well!
We were still satisfied by our stay here but think it was a bit expensive considering the above.
Smart clean single room. Comfy bed.
Clean bathroom.
Lovely cooked breakfast. Plenty of choice including full English, kippers, cereals, fruit etc.
Plenty of free parking places on the premises.

Clean room, courteous staff, good food especially the fabulous breakfast. Tuesday's pub quiz was a bonus.
Large carpark which was very convenient . We had a very friendly professional welcome by a staff member who was expecting us. Warm room, It was frosty overnight. We had a very tasty dinner and breakfast.
This is the second time we have stayed here to attend family celebrations in the nearby area. The Wheatsheaf is comfortable, reasonably priced and suits our requirements.
Classic country village hotel and pub. The room was a tad small but clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful throughout and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay again
