"Lovely place with a great sized room and very easy to commute to and from into Amsterdam. Good set of amenities! Very easy to go upstairs and grab food or drinks too if you want. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. For 3 guests in one room, a nice touch would be a small chest of drawers somewhere maybe for clothes. "

"Staff was the most accommodating of any hotel we stayed in. We had to leave early to catch a bus and requested a take away breakfast. Not only did they prepare a substantial take away meal, they opened early to allow us a hot meal before we left and also gave us the breakfast which served as another meal for our journey. So friendly and accommodating. "

"It was great for transportation. Within easy walking distance of tram, train and metro. The apartment was quite spartan. Bring your own salt and pepper. It would have been helpful to have a microwave. It’s about 12 minutes from the central station which takes you out of the crowded areas but close enough to get to where you want to go. It was a very secure and safe place to stay."

The rooms were spacious and well appointed- nespresso machine, dishwasher, tvs, etc. You could not hear noise from adjacent rooms or those above you - only occasional door slams. The breakfast had lots of options and was pretty good. I also appreciated the laundry room in the basement. It’s pretty far from the city center but close to a tram station. The staff were all helpful, friendly and always happy to accommodate. I would stay here again if back in Amsterdam."

"Yassem made a difficult situation for my mother and myself bearable. We left the Netherlands early due to her my mother’s pneumonia. He assisted us with trying to find a physician as well as transport to the airport. When the driver did not arrive on time, Yassem drove us himself. He assist ed with the loading of heavy luggage as well as removing it. The hank you so much Yassem for going he extra mile!!!!"

"The De Jonker has modern facilities is in a great location. It is away from the tourists of the Centrum but still very accessible by tram. There are many good restaurants nearby. Service was very good."

They helped explain how the parking/ transportation works, gave me pointers for food and grocery for the baby, and their coffee at the reception desk is great. The rooms are amazing with blackout curtains and a full kitchen. Totally worth the price. "

"Excellent apartment right next to Sloterdijk, a transportation hub. To and from airport by train and 369 bus very easy. Staff are nice and helpful. Apartment has enough amenities we need for a week. A double bed and sofa bed fit 3 of us well. We can get fresh towels, toilet paper and other supplies by ourselves in the supplies room. The nearby Spar supermarket is a bit small and not many restaurants around. Overall we have a good time here."
