Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The Stay was comfortable. The food was good. Only thing was the selection for breakfast, could have done with yogurt and a selection of fruit. Lovely location.

We enjoyed our stay in the historic Inn. Our room was large, clean and was ample for our 2 day staff. Breakfast was very good. The Inn isocated in a pretty village near Frome. We enjoyed our stay.

The room (castle) was great, the hotel had tons of character , food amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. We were originally going to stay in Frome then seen this hotel - we would without hesitation recommend. A fantastic find.

Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, which was at the top.

This beautiful hotel was one of our most surprising finds. The welcome we got from Talia was so good. There was a small issue with our reservation, but the team got everything sorted out within five minutes. The food was some of the best pub food I've had. The puddings were utterly delicious!

Exterior didn't look too exciting but once we got inside it was fine. Rustic but pleasant. Room was a bit small, hence no chairs, but the beds were very comfortable. Generally nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was very good. Would stay there again.
