"Staff were superb, Hotel is undergoing renovations and the Imperial Hotel next door is having a major refit so the noise at times was loud. On second floor which has just been refurbished, so room was new and clean, facilities a bit lacking, no min bar nor safe, which I regard as essentials at a Hotel in this price range in London. Bar and restaurant were good but no ability to charge to room, again something I would expect. Great breakfast did finish the stay off nicely"

"Lovely room, comfortable bed and not noisy. Lighting wasn’t great for makeup etc but was aesthetically pleasing. We received cookies in the room and sweets when checking in, and there was popcorn which was a nice touch. Pool was fab. Only issue was the bar service, we had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks and the staff were grumpy and avoided eye contact at all costs. "Door to bathroom was broken. We were finally moved to another room but the room should never have been released by housekeeping initially. Original room faced major construction. I think hotel tried to get rid of the room because it was “ prepaid”. Our friends checked in at the same time and were given an upgraded room ( they didn’t prepay)"
