A little about our family home, we have a lovely spacious house 3 BEDROOM 1 BATH PLUS A OUTDOOR SHOWER.
Our home is spacious and has a great room and a Billiard room. There is a guest cottage ( If you need additional space which is available for rent separately on this site it is a 1/1 #7001915 ) which was the original home on the property sits adjacent to the Beach House. This is our family home and we take great pride in both of them! The House and the Cottage sit independent on a large double lot and are in a excellent location being 150 feet from beach. It is very private and unique because of the location and all of the landscaping. We purchased the house several years ago from a local artist who had it for 32 years and have redone it while keeping it's Old Florida Beach House charm. It is a rare find on the key because of it's quite location in a residential neighborhood as well as its 2 lots give you lots of open area with botanical gardens making you feel like your in you own private beach compound. It is located 1/2 mile from the state park and 1/2 of a mile from the restaurants, bars with live entertainment and shops.
The BEST PART is you will find yourself a "stone's throw" 60 steps (150 ft) from a wide private beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
Since this is our family vacation home you will find it's like being in a friend’s home not a hotel. The home has also been completely redone is furnished like a home not like a rental. It has been renovated and decorated beyond any other home available for rent!! You will find everything you will need with the exception of a beach towel and your clothes. (ALL ROOMS HAVE SMART TV's AND WIRELESS INTERNET) Also this is the ONLY rental home that we know of with a BILLIARD ROOM, featuring a beautiful Brunswick drop pocket pool table.

Very nice home like, great for family/friends gatherings. Suggest clarification on ad as to number of bathrooms, this place has only 1 bathroom & a outdoor shower. Great location. Will come back!

Best little getaway
This was an amazing quick weekend getaway and the property was very charming and clean! Comfy beds and sheets and cozy couch and fun pool table! Excellent location and just a short walk to a beautiful private beach! Lots of great places to eat within a couple miles of the property. Will definitely be staying here again! Perfect place for what my husband and I needed. Pool table was fun, shed full of beach toys. We didn't need to use our vehicle our entire stay - rode bikes when we went to dinner. Nice screened in porch for morning coffee. Excellent location, nice neighbors. Big screen TVs all worked easily! Host was super nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the house! And really only 60 steps to the beach. No problems with the neighbors in beach every one was very friendly, plenty of places to eat less than 1 mile away. Had a really relaxing and enjoyable time. The owners are on top of everything!

Great location
Great host. Easy to contact and very responsive. The house is on a nicely shaded lot just a hundred feet or so from the beach. On what I consider to be the quiet south side of Manasota Key. We had a great time relaxing in the evening with several rounds of billiards. Highly recommend.

Sunrise with Turtles
Great house with 3 bedrooms each having a TV, so all could enjoy down-time. Great outdoor shower. Enjoyed the pool table. Got up for Sunrise, and Turtle Patrol was excavating a nest at the beach. Watched 7 baby turtles make it to the surf. Walk to Stump pass was beautiful, and so peaceful. This place is a treasure. Can't wait to go back.

Nice little cottage
I don’t know that I would advertise this place as a house. It’s more of cottage as there is another house connected to it that is also being rented out. Need to have a exterminator come out. Saw 4 palmetto bugs. Otherwise great place to go for the weekend.

Another Great Stay!
This was our second time renting here after a wonderful time a few years ago. Even better than we remembered! Literally steps to the beautiful gulf beach ( where I caught several Pompano we cooked on grill at the house) a barn packed full of bikes and all kinds of beach gear made for great days, several nearby indoor/outdoor restaurants that you can walk or ride the free trolly to made the days complete. Scott is a superb host, not only checking in with a text every couple of days to see if we needed anything, he even offered to let us stay over when my wife was too ill to travel home. You simply won't find a better beach getaway or a better host!

Amazing!
Great house, great location, and the house was everything and more than expected. I must say this is the first time we have left from vacation and everyone was actually in tears. Scott was an awesome host. Great communication and an awesome info booklet waiting for us in the kitchen that told us everything we needed to know about the house and the island. We will definitely be back, but it will for surely be for more than 4 days. This is the house you are looking for if you want an awesome vacation!

Great Location
The house was a super cute little property really close to the beach. We just had to walk down a little path. It was clean, and there were beach-y things ready to use (towels, chairs, etc). The only thing is the 2nd bathroom listed is an outdoor shower head for rinsing off after the beach. It was a tough week for my family to share one bathroom. We still really enjoyed our stay!

A Quick Getaway
I recommend this property to anyone looking for a getaway that offers plenty of outdoor activities, good restaurants, a laid-back atmosphere, and fun at the beach. This home is exactly as advertised, just steps from the beach, situated on a quiet lane, tropically landscaped yard that provided a much needed, relaxing vacation. The house is well maintained with an updated kitchen and bath. There were more amenities than my husband and I needed, but certainly very appreciated. The shed is full of beach equipment, in addition, bicycles were available for our use, which was an unexpected bonus. Thank you, Scott and Ryan, for being perfect hosts and we look forward to visiting again.

Paradise getaway
Our family visited just after hurricane Ian, and this property was essentially unscathed. Scott was such a great host, and communicated with us in a very timely manner to let us know we were still able to stay after the hurricane. The house was just a bit crowded with 3 kids and 4 adults, but i was fully aware of that going in. Next time, I will probably choose to do both the 3 bedroom and one bedroom for the extra room. The pool table was a big plus, as the weather kept us away from the beach a couple days. Absolutely love the patio area outside. Relaxing in the Adirondack chairs while grilling was great. Look forward to going back down when things are a little more normal.
