"We live in Edinburgh but had to book somewhere to stay while we were having work done at our house and Sycamore Cottage was perfect for four of us. The bedrooms are really spacious and the kitchen is really well equipped which isn’t always the case in self catering accommodation. We didn’t think we’d need to use the log burner but a typical Scottish spring meant we used it a few nights and there was plenty of logs left for it. Easy to drive into Edinburgh or can get the train from Gorebridge....

Fantastic mud room with a great space to wash and fold laundry. Easy access to some of the best coastal golf in East Lothian/Mussleburgh area. 20 minute drive to downtown Edinburgh. Beautiful grounds with deer, pheasant, rabbits. Plentiful parking outside the unit. And above all....VERY accommodating owners. Without diving too...

"We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

"We traveled with two kids under four, my spouse, and her parents. The apartment had tons of space and a nice patio as well. This cottage is literally built within the wall of the castle grounds. The very windows you look out to see the ocean and the sheep are built right into the wall. The walk around the property is fantastic. "Came in from The USA for a trip with members of our golf club. The location to St. Andrews and the golf in the local area was tremendous. Cannot be beat: 20 mins to the old course // other great golf courses within a 5 or 25 minute ride. Great location in town, 10 minute walk to the beach, with really different food options. Must have the fresh baked goods from the Coo-oop!! They were the friendliest trying to guess where my American accent was from!! The house allowed for everyone to do...

"We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! Kitchen has everything you need and even though we had taken hand wash and washing up liquid etc, it was all provided. Even dishwasher tablets! The views from the garden are exceptional and it was very quiet. We loved sitting watching the families of swallows flying in and out of their nests and listening their babies...
