Everything is provided , a good range of utensils and crockery , kitchen equipment and extremely comfortable bed. Shower room excellent and the terrace has the stunning views. "I absolutely loved this cottage and wished I could have stayed for longer. Jacqui is a wonderful host and is so friendly and helpful. She’s also a good cook as the “welcome in” scones are delicious. The cottage is gorgeous. It’s well kitted out and so comfortable. If I could buy it and live there I would!"

"First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us)."

"The hotel is a wonderful old building that has been lovingly maintained. Our room was fine, everything was clean, tidy and worked and we got what we paid for. The restaurant was excellent. It had grandeur, it was flooded with light, offered views over the Tay, drink and food options were very good and reasonably priced. While there was no car park, one across the road offered reasonable rates and was convenient. The Discovery and V&A are a 5 min walk and are excellent. Why not a 5* rating? Like...
