"Very lovely and unique place. Very well decorated inside and outside. Bed is very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed the stay. Would come back any time"
"chez Sandrine was perfect for us in a stopover to the alps skiing. warm friendly, parking and ideal location
A good pizza restaurant just down the road"
"The hotel was lovely, in a great location. The food in the restaurant was absolutely spectacular; one of the best meals I've had in years. Some of the decor in the hotel is a bit dated, there didn't appear to be spare pillows, and we had a separate loo with no sink, so you had to go around to the main bathroom to wash your hands. Apart from these two issues, would have given five stars."
"Old, quaint house in center of a village with 3 restaurants total (1 was a pizza place).
Room style from the 60’ and needs refurbishment. Ok for the price.
Restaurant with seating outside. Nice, food ok, nothing special. 3 course meal for EUR35. Opened at 19:00, quite opposite to the night b4 in Germany: They closed at 20:00!
Bed very good. Showerhead needs changing….

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English).
The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway.
The only restaurant in Salives was unable...
"A very good stop. The people at hotel were very friendly and welcoming. It was not that far from motorway and even easier when we left going south. We ate dinner which was great - classic French but straight forward cooking. The bar was also used by the locals who all seemed very friendly!"
"We love this place and it is our first choice accommodation. Always a friendly welcome, and well-maintained and super-comfortable chalet and facilities. We will definitely return!"
"We spent a very comfortable night in this beautiful old property, that is full of history and charm. The dinner was excellent as was the bottle of local wine. The town looked charming although we had very little time to explore. Hopefully we will be back. "

"Spent a week in this lovely house, which was well equipped and clean. Easy parking outside (free).
Lovely views overlooking the ramparts, fields & lakes.
The city was full of history, from their famous Langres cheese, Diderot & history of cutlery manufacture.
The owner Pascal & his wife were extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Thank you both for your hospitality.
