Lovely little hotel. Room had loads of space and the beds were really comfortable. Staff are very friendly and were always willing to help. Food in the bar downstairs is really nice. Would definitely recommend and stop again.

Good value hotel in the centre of Cumnock. Room 5 was large with a sofa. Bed comfortable and fan in room which was needed whilst the UK was in the midst of a heatwave. Staff were very friendly especially in the restaurant. Small hotel parking area but on road and free parking nearby if full.

From arriving to leaving, the royal hotel was outstanding. Staff were professional, and nothing was a problem for them. The restaurant food is fantastic ( but you may need to reserve a table as it gets pretty busy ) Our room

Nice big room, super comfy bed, great shower. Food was really good, staff were all great. My only gripe was the lack of WiFi in my room but hot-spot through my phone solved that. On the whole, a very nice stay and I'll be happy to stay again.

The room was a bit dated but clean and had everything you would want! Staff were all amazing! We were lucky we got the last parking space! The restaurant was really lovely and the food was exceptional!!! Our compliments to the chef!!! The joining pub was friendly and welcoming. We were down for a wedding in another RAD hotel close by but we feel we got the better deal! Taxi service was recommended by hotel, and we used them twice, great value and lovely people.

I managed to swap my Double room for a twin room, as my partner couldn’t attend a family party so my son came with me. It was an excellent room, actually it was 2 large rooms both with a double bed, large TV etc but you enter from the same main front door. It’s a very nice and busy hotel, clearly the place to be seen, to eat, and to drink as the bar and restaurant were very busy. Plenty of parking space as well.

Surprisingly great stay

Our room had recently been refurbished and may also have been an upgrade (ask for room numbers 10-16). Facilities and decor were excellent, with a walk-in shower, comfortable bed and free parking. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional so we would have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Hotel.

A nice well run hotel with very modern and comfortable rooms. Plenty of options for food and drink in the hotel and very reasonable prices. Would happily recommend. Only negative was the room allocated had an outlook only a slate roof and nothing else. Makes me wonder whether Expedia only sell the less attractive rooms in golfers.

The hotel was in the right place for our weekend stay and we enjoyed our stay. The service was extremely good and we were well looked after. The room was fine, but we would have liked either a walk in shower or a shower that could be adaptable. Bothe of us have difficulty getting into a bath and a ceiling shower just could not be used by us.
