The front desk rep. did move us no problem. However he failed to let us know that there is a way to go across the street to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. "The property has to be considered within the price, which is the lowest I paid in Sicily. For that it is reasonable. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There was parking which I appreciated. But, the place was quite run down - mould and flaking paint etc. No breakfast, and the closest shop you have to walk on a terrifying road with no pavement where you think every car might run you down. But, the price is certainly fair. Best for solo travellers."

The hotel is perfectly situated just outside of the historic core of the city but all of the major sights are close by and it is very walkable. The room was quite comfortable and the breakfast was first rate. Though I made a wrong turn on my way from the Central Train Station to the hotel, it was actually very easy to find my way. The person at the front desk was very helpful and shared a great map of Catania that helped me quickly check out nearby sights."
