"Authentically shabby chic chateau, an experience you will never forget. Excellent place for a large group (we were 12 most of the fortnight) and perfect for eating drinking and talking late into the night. The pool is good and needed in the summer (38 degrees while we were there). Despite the large indoor space it was the outdoor living that we particularly enjoyed. Not a place for people who want modern conveniences, but if you want authentic old french this is perfect."

"Beautiful property , pool, decor, surroundings Quality beds. Can't think of anything negative to say. We rent every summer and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed at! Highly recommended!"

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"This is a great choice for Cite. It’s crazy cheap new building. Cheap furniture but pretty clean spacious. Breakfast is 3 euro it is same as 11 Euro breakfast. Coffee machine. Great valley. Next to la Cite. A bit harder to go into town "

"Really fabulous hotel in a great location - staff are wonderful and always helpful. There’s a rooftop perch where you can get stunning views of the Carcassonne fortress and walls and there’s also a secure underground parking lot. "

"This place is top notch. We regret not having dined there but the pool area and breakfast areas are stunning and the staff from David who brings you to the hotel from the parking to Patricia at front desk and the rest of the staff it’s just splendid. 5 stars well earned. I will be back."
