"Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. My husband didn’t like his salmon and scrambled eggs on toast- said the toast wasn’t great...

"Could be a 3 star with a little more attention. Toilet roll sheets only suit nursery children - far too small. Bar manager could not tell which wines were "aged", simply reading the label does not necessarily guarantee ensure that the absence of such information means that it is not "aged"- staff should have knowledge of the goods on sale."

"It was a lovely stay. We stayed for three nights and it was a lovely room. Didn’t hear the pub downstairs at all. Down the road is a dominos and a lovely Indian next door i reccomend it was great! We have breakfast served in the morning but something went wrong w the kitchen but it was still a lovely breakfast. "

"A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...

"It was such a fun experience staying in this historic Inn! The decor maintained the historical feel, and it was a fun place to stay while visiting Glastonbury. We were able to walk everywhere (including to the top of the Tor - which seemed dauting but was not that bad!) For vegetarians - we had a great plant based burger for dinner at the restaurant, and the English Breakfast included in the morning was a very hearty way to start the day. "This property, a freehouse since the 18th century, is exactly what I expected. Close to all Bath city sights, rooms are efficient and have everything you need. The property has had recent painting to lighten and brighten the spaces and they are inviting in a relaxed manner you would expect of a freehouse, that is the charm of the place. There is a bit of street noise but nothing not expected from city living. I throughly enjoyed my stay."
