"It was a great location. The apartment was basic but very comfortable and good. The second bathroom has a very short shower which was fine for my three kids but an adult would have trouble standing. The check in process was great but when we had difficulty getting the door open in the evening (very old door and was very hard to open) no one answered the number we called. "The apartment has an unbeatable location — open the front window and you’re looking at Porte Caillhau, like your own personal castle. Trams are an easy walk, and you can jog along the river. "My wife and I had a lovely stay at the flat in St Medard en Jalles. The owner, Sylvie, was very helpful and friendly explaining to us about the locality and giving advice on things to do. "We had a great stay from 11-18 September. Super apartment multiple air conditioning units much appreciated. Location close to Port du Burgoyne Tram stop. Ideal for exploring Bordeaux by tram or river taxi (Bat). WiFi issues and lighting in the shower room sorted promptly. 100 steps to the 4th floor but the lift is available for luggage. "The apartment was well presented and clean, warm and comfortable in a lovely quiet building. The location was excellent with an easy walk to the centre and the tram stop virtually on the doorstep for going further out of town.
