"Excellent location, on the edge of the ancient centre of Verona, and very reasonably priced. The hosts got in touch with me ahead of time and were very helpful with finding suitable car parking, and finding the property. We had a private room in a shared area (shared kitchen & bathrooms), but we only saw one other resident - we had it almost to ourselves. The main downside was that nearby drilling and hammering sounds started early in the morning, but I guess that was bad luck."

"The property has a sense of serenity with beautiful views. Its location is excellent a short walk along the lake's promenade gets you right to Bardolino centre with beautiful resraurants and shops. Very clean and the staff are very helpful. Only negative is that the rooms are a bit dated and need an uplift with better decor. Saying that I would still choose this hotel if visiting the area again!"

"We really enjoyed our week stay at hotel Maximilian, lovely location 10/15min walk from bardolino along the water front and 5mins from the little cisano in the opposite direction, restaurant which is part of the hotel is brilliant and very lucky to have it on the premises always bus my which can only be a good sign. Staff are friendly and rooms clean with lovely view of the lake, would definitely come back."

"Apartment was easy to find with great instructions from the operator. We took a bus from the train station and it was quite painless. The apartment is in a good location and the "Truly Verona" office is nearby if in need. We had a little issue with the washing machine but managed to use it in the end. I do not think it is "user-friendly" but it is a small issue. Overall, I would recommend it to travellers who plan to stay for 3-5 days."
