"The only comment is the TV in the room wasn't easy to use , having to score through many channels trying each one to see what programme was available. If the remote can be set to show programme guide instead of station guide that would be helpful. We gave up !! Also the bar menu was adequate , however we went into the restaurant side to experience the dining offer in there only to be told it was the same limited menu as the bar, that was disappointing"

"We would definitely stay here again. Very friendly helpful staff from the start of our stay until the end. Food always very hot and freshly made. Amazing breakfast with a starter a main and as many hot or cold drinks you want. Room good size large comfy bed good pillows very clean. Large rainfall shower. Hand soap hand lotion shower gel and shampoo. Tea coffee biscuits still and fizzy water in room. We stayed in a back room but did see rooms on the front with bay windows were bigger and brighter. Good patking spaces at back. We also loved the spiral staircase a lovely building with a bar restaurant reception disabled toilets seating out the front a library big stone fireplace lots of leaflets of local attractions. Lovely little village with shops cafes etc a short walk to the lake and visitor center. You can take a dip if its warm. Definitely try the whippy icecream van double 99 it's huge lol. Here you are an hour away from Barmouth and Snowdonia. We saw sheep goats birds rabbits during our stay. We both enjoyed our stay here. Thank you to all the staff and Thomas for making it a lovely weekend. Sallyann and Colin from the Midlands xx"

"We stayed in an apartment with our three children. It was lovely and clean and perfect for us. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. The apartment was really well stocked with cutlery and plates cups etc. No issues with anything the apartment was really tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful. Good selection of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The hot selection was plentiful and tasty. Really good location not far from local amenities and a pebble beach, quick drive to portmadog."

"Great value stop over when travelling north through Wales. We were looking for a family room for one night and could see that it was a busy weekend with very little availability across north Wales. Plas Coch was available, great price and decent big room for the three of us. Ok, so it could do with a lick of paint and a polish in a few places but it was clean, well situated and the staff were helpful in helping us park. Perfect for our needs, thank you."

"Excellent value for money with large rooms at a realistic price. Staff were pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. Evening meals were typical of a pub meal and breakfast were very good. The bar was amenable with the chance to sit out in the evening sunshine. Beer was a reasonable ok rice and good quality. Good parking to rear and although not secure, the area is quiet and feels safe. There were 15 motorbikes in the car park without incidents of any tampering overnight. The only negative is some plumbing issues relating to showers with it being a very old heritage building but staff are helpful to resolve any concerns. I would stay there again as it is excellent value for tourists want to lay their head."
