"A lovely, welcoming property, which was perfect for a catch up, with ample beds, towels and bedding, enough utensils for cooking a quick meal before relaxing with drinks on the patio, in the hot tub, in the airy living space or all of the above! Everything was well appointed and easy to find, loved the en suite wet room. The chickens provided unexpected entertainment and the neighbouring sheep and alpacas were very chill. "This was a great spot for exploring local areas of interest and visiting friends just across the border. A day excursion by car to the spectacular Shropshire Hills completed my stay. The accommodation was perfect for myself and my travelling companion Lenny the greyhound. He had the run of the garden and the field beyond for morning zoomies. "Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"Pleasant/bright,good outside area ,quiet for a main road ,comfy beds ,good shower. Just be aware of steep stairs ,could do with small bins in bedrooms and especially bathroom for toiletry waste and a set of drawers in main bedroom just to put stuff on .All in all nice and would stay again ."

"Good location - on a working farm with lots of animals but also lots of safe areas for children to play - cottage clean and comfortable as listed - lots to do locally - good pubs and eating places in and around Malpas - nice area for cycling"

"We’ve just had a great 4 night stay at this very comfortable and modern converted barn. The view from the balcony through the double bi-fold doors is extremely relaxing with donkeys, cows, horse and pheasants in the adjoining fields and paddocks. Although rural, Whitchurch and Wem are just a short drive for amenities. Parking is behind a private gated entrance. Highly recommended - in fact we’ve already booked a return visit."
