When it comes to service, it is unparalleled! Each and every staff member goes out of their way to make your stay special. I would especially like to say a big big thank you to three people who made our stay super special with their beautiful personalities and kindness, Simon at the front desk, Aprivta (not sure how to spell her name) - the lady who cleaned our room and Rajju in the bar!
The reason I have given the overall stay 4 stars is primarily because the breakfast in the hotel is disappointing. I don’t think it’s worth the price especially as you can order room service for half the price where as if you order room service as a B&B guest you are charged €10 per cover which is just bizarre. Similarly, with the Spa. I had a massage and it was ok (not the worst, but defy not worth the €80), and more importantly I don’t understand why we can’t access the Spa (Vitality Suite) without a reservation and are not offered locker facilities if you don’t have a massage appointment. Also the system of not being able to access the indoor pool without someone physically letting you in or out is simply ridiculous. I couldn’t get out despite calling the number and had to leave from the emergency exit.
The room could also do with more modern upgrades, but nevertheless it was clean and comfortable.
