We ordered food from outside because the dining hours are quite limited, we didn't have forks and the staff refused to bring us forks. I had to go down 27 floors to a coffee shop to get forks. The soda vending machine was broken on our floor. My travel companion experienced trouble with her iPhone charger, not a single person in the hotel offered to let her use a charger for maybe an hour. The worst offense came in the elevator lobby on M4, a hotel employee allowed a near empty elevator to close in my face. I was carrying luggage and when I requested that she press the call button, she acted as if I had asked her to do me a huge favor. The bottom line is this hotel has upscale prices but does not have the experienced staff to match. Our room was clean and we had a beautiful view from 2768 in the North Tower. However, the Omni Centennial Olympic Park is the most inconvenient, poorly laid out structure I have ever spent a night in. I became aware the day before I checked in that I had paid over 700 dollars for a room that was offered to other guests at less than 370. Angela (the MOD) attempted to make a bad situation better and she was kind and very professional. But, everything else was so bad I don't think I will ever stay with an Omni hotel again. I am scheduled at The Omni Atlanta Battery Park in August. But, I will be cancelling that reservation shortly. This hotel will go down as a $1000 lesson well learned. My advice to my fellow travelers is keep looking.
