"I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry....

"This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

"My husband and I spent 8 days in Sebastian’s apartment. Everything was perfect. The flat is in a great location, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a wonderful coffee maker. We even had a welcoming bottle of wine and snacks awaiting us when we arrived. Sebastian provided a neighborhood guide to restaurants, grocery stores, laundry etc. He answered all our questions very promptly. All in all he was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this flat to anyone."

"Who wouldn’t want to stay in a real houseboat in Amsterdam….seriously? We so enjoyed our stay there. Out your living room window were all kinds of ducks swimming by. Nature is all around you. The area is very quiet at night which was what we wanted. Each evening, we sat around the kitchen table with wine, and charcuterie, sharing photos, and planning the next days’ activities. "This flat has everything you need. We really loved our first time to Amsterdam. Like people said earlier the steps are a good workout! The flat is decorated very cute and the beds are very comfortable. So is the sofa!! It is easily accessible to the trams into the city and walking distance to cafés and grocery stores. It feels a little far from the city, but that also makes it really quiet and there is a lot of parking!! Valcim was really attentive to our needs too. Thank you so much!"

"Wir waren für vier Nächte bei Laila und John zu Gast und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft standen ein paar Blumen auf dem Tisch und frische Minze und im Kühlschrank waren ein paar Eier. Wir bekamen Ausflugs- und Einkaufstipps und haben uns nach unseren Touren mit dem Auto oder den Fahrrädern über die große Badewanne gefreut. Fußläufig gibt es eine gute Eisdiele, die wir täglich aufgesucht haben."

"Schöne ruhige Unterkunft mit einer für uns als Radfahrer/Läufer tollen Lage. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, so daß man alles mögliche zubereiten kann (Supermarkt fußläufig erreichbar). Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt."
