We had an amazing view of the ocean and direct entry to the poolside. Our apartment was clean and well appointed with all we needed for a great stay! Staff Communication was excellent in arranging a late check in for us. It is well located across the road from the beach and close to cafes and the surf club. Would definitely stay there again!

The room was clean. The Aircon was underpowered, only barely cooled the room - a big deal in Queensland. The clothes dryer broke down on day 2, the manager offered us the use of the staff dryer. The sofas were covered in bedding, underneath the bedding there were stains. We were not offered compensation for these below expectation amenities. On the positive side it’s a great location and the apartment was roomy..

Staff were quite welcoming. I had a minor Issue with payment prior to arrival which was sorted quickly and efficiently. Room was average- had booked a one bedroom but was put in a two bedroom with one bathroom and bedroom being locked off (a bit weird). Older decor compared to what was predominantly shown on site. The view is all you need to relax. Watch tankers on the horizon, surfers at day break, and life savers training, and walk along the beach. Handy shops and food outlets within walking distance, especially the Alex Surf Club. Very friendly service by new management Kim.

The location is great and the rooms are large and well equipped. Only downfall was the curtains in the main room were held together with clothes pegs and were broken. This did not allow the relaxed sleep ins we were looking forward to. The area was beautiful and the surf club across the road was great for an afternoon drink, breakfast and upstairs for dinner. It was an extremely popular spot. Overall, we had a great long weekend.
