My stay was superb, helpful staff, even had an extra umbrella when it started to rain. The gentleman who works the graveyard shift helped me microwave some leftovers when I returned late after a football match. I was only traveling solo but highly recommend for family’s. Central to everything and only short walks from bus or train stations and literally surrounded by great food establishments. I would love to bring my family next summer and my only regret was I didn’t stay longer. Aberdeen should be proud to have such warm and kind hosts, thank you again to all the staff I encountered!!!!
The staff waited for me although my train was delayed by 2.5 hours.
my stay was pleasant and the hotel quiet.

I wish I could say it was great- it was in the process of upgrading, so no kitchen or bar was open. The location was very convenient to Train& bus stations, the mall, a few bars. I would go back.

Spacious accommodation for single travellers. Situated close to main thoroughfares which made transport for onward travel easy.
Centrally positioned for train/bus stations and eateries.
Was a nice, obviously recently refurbished room. The bathroom had a good shower and tub.
The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Only fault. No light switches or lamps by beds so had to switch off at wall by the door. A minor issue but thought it a little strange.
Would definitely stay there again.
Definitely value for money.
Nice room , comfy bed.pity bar was vloded due to refutbishments

The room was neat and clean and tidy. It was very basic, but I only needed a place to sleep, so it was fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was no food service or bar service available, so the public areas were always empty of people. The decor is up-beat and cool, but the building is quite old and full of "character", like old, squeaky, and quite uneven floors and stairs, The bathroom was in need of a fresh coat of paint. It is perfectly fine if you are not too picky. And it is right in the heart of downtown, super close to the train and bus stations, and a 25 minute walk from the beach.

They are honest about being in the middle of a refurbishment. For the Price point and location it is excellent. If you prefer to spend money on experiences than a bed for the night, this is a good place. Can walk anywhere in Aberdeen to all the sites. Staff super helpful. Fabulous café around the corner called café Concerto. So really good for a couple of nights.
It was a hotel that was shut down a while ago and then reopened again a few weeks (or months?) ago, probably specifically for the large conference I attended. The hotel shines with the past luxury (at least in my room), but desperately needs renovation from top to bottom. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine, but worn out. To some extent the hotel leaves an impression of a deserted ghost-like hotel, even though, as I was told, they were fully booked.

We were informed in advance that the bar and restaurant were "undergoing work" so would not be available. We saw no evidence of work, it just seemed as though the hotel was only open for room rental.
The room was clean and had a large bathroom, however the carpet was very strange, all wrinkled, seemed thin and not attached to the floor. The bed was comfortable and staff were polite.
Staff was very helpful and hotel while a little dated and no bar or restaurant was fine. Carpet could use a good cleaning. Parking was around the block and tough to find.
