"We had a fabulous two night stay. Staff were wonderful throughout our stay, made us very welcome. Hôtel is charming and our room was spacious and can fault anything about it. One of the best places we stayed. Big shout out to Caroline who arranged for a little surprise for my husband and to the lovely lady who served us behind the bar. ( we didn’t get her name) We will definitely be coming back. "

"Overall the stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable, with late breakfast available at weekends. The dining experience in the Inkwell bar/restaurant was very poor. Long waits at the bar to order even though there was enough staff. Ordered a steak, waitress was poor then had to go up to get a steak knife."

"This was a standard room. It was small and situated in the heart of the hotel so had no natural light. The air conditioning although set to 17 never dropped below 22 so the room was very hot and claustrophobic given that you couldn't open a window to even get a breath of air. I was only there 2 nights. Couldn't have managed any more. Room was clean. Room service menu was a shocker. All in all disappointing especially for the price but obviously the location is what you're paying for. "
