"Just an overnight stay"

"Lovely hotel with beautiful views over the lake. Some elements of the hotel let it down, the ensuite was tired looking with significant orange staining to the bath taps. Pillows were uncomfortable and would have been nice to have some bottles of water in the room. However, overall I would recommend and stay again "

"Lovely grand property awaits you when you drive in. We had a garden room in a newer part of the hotel. It's fair yo say it could do with a bit of facelift but nevertheless the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and extremely quiet. Buffet breakfast is very good - a huge choice for all including vegans. We tried the spa/pool which was really nice too! "

"Overall very good, staff were all great. A shame breakfast closes quite early and the quality wasn't much different to a 3*. Our kettle wasn't working properly and unfortunately there weren't any replacements available but otherwise everything was in good condition and very clean. Some food vending machines or a room service menu would be nice as there is not much for vegetarians locally."

"We stayed at Mollie's for 2 nights. It is a lovely motel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. It's quite a quirky unique place. The bed was super comfortable. We found it a little odd having the sink outside the bathroom and the taps turned in the opposite way to what we are used to so managed to get items a little wet at times but that was no big deal when you get used to it. "Hotel was very clean & pleasant,room was clean & tidy, however info stated that room would be ready from 15:00, we were delayed by traffic & booked in at 16:25 to be told that room was not ready. We went for a drink in the bar & receptionist said she would phone when ready. As we were attending a function from 14:00-18:00 3 miles away we waited until 17:25 but room was still not ready. "Stayed overnight with the Grandkids so the pool was an added bonus. We had breakfast which was excellent "

"When we arrived my husband and I were shocked as there was no parking at the hotel. We had to pay to unload and then had a five minute walk from the hotel to the car park. It is totally unsatisfactory that elderly people have to carry their luggage to and from a car such a distance from the hotel. There were no porters and no help within the hotel for the few steps we had to negotiate on the way to the room. "We were unfortunately staying at the hotel prior to a family funeral however everyone we met were very warm and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, good bathroom but average lighting which made shaving a little difficult."
