"Hotel was a little bit tired in places but generally it was i good decorative order. Very spacious and pleasant public areas. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed. Great location too. I would stay there again"

Breakfast wasn't the greatest and cost over inflated £12 for some dried out scrambled egg which was the only egg choice, bacon was only streaky type. Biggest issue was trying to get a VAT receipt from hotels .com as the invoice provided by Hotel.com doesn't show this breakdown which I need for my company to claim back. "

"I would have put excellent but our room must have been next to the bpiler room and was rather noisy. Decor is slightly dated in the room too. But will go again as it was only an airport stay."

"It"s a budget hotel, so no frills for sure, but it's clean and has the things you need for a brief stay. Staff are so helpful, solutions-focused and friendly. They are such an asset - I hope they sre treated really well by the company!"

"Only one choice of eggs for breakfast. Discussed with manager at main desk to see if it was possible to have a poached egg the answer was no as,the kitchen does not have the facilities to cook poached eggs and The Hampton is Budget hotel & if we would like more choice we need to stay in a Hotel with a higher star rating. Very strange response."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at the hotel. We were allocated a double room upon check in that we were really unhappy with, but after going down to reception, we were immediately relocated to a much better room with a pleasant view of the front garden. The customer service was excellent and the hotel was full of classic charm. Breakfasts were lovely and the location fantastic. We would definitely return."
