"Lovely room, lucky to be upgraded to a deluxe room. Couldn’t fault it. Nespresso machine, nice toiletries , bath and shower, lounge area, two tvs, comfy bed, lovely towels, perfect! With the cooked breakfast the sourdough toast and the muffin was barely toasted but that is being picky. The rest of breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. "Right opposite the train station so very handy for anyone who has mobility problems. Much quieter than I was expecting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bedroom had plenty of supplies - including Earl Grey teabags, a cafetière and ground coffee, biscuits etc, also towelling robes and slippers. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. No food service after 6pm but within a short walking distance of many restaurants and bars. "

"We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. "This property, a freehouse since the 18th century, is exactly what I expected. Close to all Bath city sights, rooms are efficient and have everything you need. The property has had recent painting to lighten and brighten the spaces and they are inviting in a relaxed manner you would expect of a freehouse, that is the charm of the place.
