"It's a great location, close to ocean and Stanley Park. Hotel itself is dated but has charm. I'd guess Canadians appreciate that more than other countries. We managed to walk from hotel and all around the city including Granville Isl without calling on public transport or cab. So it's a recommendation. "

"The check-in was very busy. We got there early and was told we would get a text at 4:00pm when our room would be ready. We never received a text. When we got back to the Hotel at 4:00pm there was a huge line-up. Luck for us Pedro the doorman went to the back to got us our keys and room number, so that we did not have to wait in line again. "
