"Our stay was wonderful and Just what our family needed. Beautiful main room with big windows looking out into the forest. Hot tub on the main deck was ideal! Bed's were comfortable and plenty of towels for showering and hot tubbing. The community was quiet and so are we so that was a perfect, peaceful match for our family. We will definitely book again and would recommend this home to others."

"This house worked well for our family visit. The snow was fantastic and there is a relatively flat area behind the house that is great for snow play. Typical of the houses in Tahoe-Donner in the winter, one wants to be very careful pulling out of the driveway due to cars driving reasonably fast and no visibility due to the snow banks. "The cabin is cozy and spacious. We had a group of 6, but could've easily been 10+. The games selection was surprisingly diverse, and the poker table came handy even for a game of Catan. The stained windows were an amazing touch. My only complaint is that the listing showed the cabin within walking distance of the Northstar village, when it's definitely not. However, the commuter shuttles make it a short trip to the village."

"After 2 nights of tent camping we came to Truckee to visit. GH was the perfect place to do this. Everything was perfect-the location and amenities. Our room had everything we needed to rejuve and recoup. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Next to an easy trail for the bikes provided!"
