"A perfect base for us to explore the local area. Beautifully clean and well maintained throughout. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely relaxing outdoor space (complete with sneaky views of the sea). We made the most of the body boards in the shed - very useful! Perfectly located for 5ish minute walk to Carbis Bay beach and a walk or train to St Ives. Steep hills but the pain is over very quickly! I would highly recommend Little Coombe."

"The property is sited within walking distance of the beach (up a steep hill). The views from the flat are arguably the best, taking in the beach, sea and St Ives from the living room through massive windows. The layout of the bedrooms is unusual but works well with the children away from the the living room. A useful space outside the front door to dry and keep wetsuits etc safely. Would definitely stay again."
"Beautiful and comfortable guesthouse very near the heart of St Ives. My hosts were lovely and friendly, the food delicious and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches (e.g. gluten-free bars provided for me in my room). I really recommend this guesthouse."
"Absolutely loved our stay in St Ives. Green Apple b&b exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be back. Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! "Good location - easy drive / walk to St Ives. On-site parking. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and attentive staff. Certainly rates highly on our list of "stay there again"."
"This lovely hotel is well positioned for a stay in St Ives. It’s out of the town which makes parking and travelling around very easy. You can catch a bus or taxi to the centre easily. The restaurant could be improved - if you had a great chef in the hotel - this place would be awesome. At the moment it’s pretty hard to get cooked toast with your poached eggs at breakfast. The staff too are pretty changeable some are fantastic - others one guy in particular, tired and in need of a holiday...

"A castle, with a view of the ocean, what more could you ask for? Well, maybe not a facecloth, or an in-room refrigerator, or an outlet on hubbie’s side of the bed for his CPAP, or an easy walk from the train station with all your luggage (call a taxi, trust us on this!). But the grounds are big and beautiful, including a “secret” garden, an outdoor pool, and a small golf course. The staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and beyond competent. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. And there’s a lovely shortcut down the hill to the beach and town. And what a great town! Crooked little cobblestone streets, with lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, and art galleries. The Southwest Coastal Path is there if you like hiking, with spectacular views. In summary, there’s a lot to love about the location, and the Tregenna Resort itself."

"As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots."

"Margaret and Martin are lovely people who made us feel more than welcome. Our room had a wonderful sea view and was well equipped. I would say that Hotels.com has titiled the Borthalan as a hotel but I personally think it is a B&B - but a lovely one."
