Basic comfortable hotel, a good 1 hour’s walk from Reykjavik centre (old town) on a noisy junction adjacent to an out-of-town shopping area. Good bus connections into town and BSI bus station. With no reception, the hotel has a somewhat impersonal feel to it. Our bed linen was not changed during our 5-night stay; towels only once. The continental breakfast was reasonably good: plenty of it but limited variation. Would we stay here again? Probably not.

Was pleasantly surprised with ODDSSON. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. Close to all the outlet malls and good restaurants, great location for shopping. Underground parking was tricky with large van but we found room in parking lot at the side of hotel. Grear place to stay!

Great hotel, great breakfast restaurant is good as well. Lots of shopping nearby parking was tough but all of Iceland parking is tough lol

We had a wonderful four-night stay! The only reason it earned four stars is because our room wasn’t quite ready until 30 mins late. Also, there weren’t any towels in the hallway closets like they were supposed to be. Otherwise a perfect place to stay, would definitely do it again! (Great breakfast spread)

I must commend the staff, from the beginning. Maybe we got lucky due to the timing of the trip but, they allowed us to check-in early since we had arrived very early, 0800 early and check-in was not supposed to be until 1500. Breakfast was great everyday and we were also able to join in the day of our early check-in. Then later in the week we had tried through a few different apps to park as the parking garage was full at the hotel since we came back late. We called the front desk service multiple times and they were aware of our plight and allowed us to park in an unofficial spot as we had rented a Jimny just small enough to fit. Would definitely come here again, room was cozy for us and there were lots of options for pick-up for different activities!
