Unfortunately the staff was not very pleasant to people who didn’t speak Spanish. My nephew slipped on water and hit his head on the ground and all the staff could say was “he should’ve read the yellow caution sign” …my nephew doesn’t know how to read. The people at the check in desk told my parents that the room was ready but when we came back to the desk to get the keys they said “just because check in is at 3 doesn’t mean the room would be ready” 10/10 do not recommend coming to this resort at all.

The staff all looked miserable. The rooms smelled like pure mold. The amount of mosquitos are crazy. In addition, the drinks were pure sugar not real drinks. The staff members at the desk were unprofessional. I would not recommend this resort at all.

This was the worst hotel and vacation experience ever. This hotel is run down and disgusting. Make sure you book a renovated room or you will get an old outdated room. We booked a renovated room and the quality was still poor, we had three different rooms. First room was dirty and smelled like urine, second room the AC was not working, third room hotel decided to upgrade our room to a double bedroom. This room was better but the daily cleaning was horrible. Only our bed was bed every day, the floors weren’t mopped or trash thrown out. I want to note I have a baby and didn’t receive a crib until about the evening of the second night there. I had to call them various times and go to the lobby to complain. Most of our vacation was spent at the lobby trying to get the service we have paid for which we did not receive. The property is huge and divided into different hotels. You must use a trolley service to get from one end of the hotel to the other. The trolley is a good idea but becomes a mess when they are all full or drivers don’t want to take you or none come after a long time of waiting. You only get two a la carte dinners, which are ok but not impressive- staff throughout the hotel needs to be retrained on customer service. When you run out of a la carte dinners you’re only option is the buffet which smells bad, looks old, dingy run down and food quality is horrible. I’ve never wanted vacation to end so quickly.

The property was very nice. It was very difficult getting a train that ran from our room on the beach to the lobby. The lobby area is where all the entertainment, bars and buffet were. At night, trying to get from the lobby to our room at the hotel room is nearly impossible. Most of the staff did not smile and was not happy to see us. The staff gave me wrong directions or acted like they didn’t know what I was asking.

The stink from the toilets always floated towards the dining areas. The network was always slow or out, so getting answers for simple queries took forever. It’s fine that we had to queue for the drinks, but give some indication that there is a queue. Bars should serve no more that 2 drinks PP as there is people waiting in line. They can then line up again for more drinks.
