We absolutely LOVED the hotel. Friendly staff, warm ambiance, and an extremely comfortable bed. The only downside is the train is nearby. It didn’t really bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper it may be an issue. Other than that, no problems. I’d definitely stay at this hotel again.

Anytime I’m in Memphis I always stay at the Hu. The staff is amazing, the location is close to the places I like to visit. My last stay prior to this visit was 2 years ago. My ONLY complaint is the carpet! Ownership has to get it under control. As soon as I walked onto my floor, there were two huge, unattractive stains. This was same issue I saw 2 years ago in the room and was truly wishing this was not the same case. I love this hotel but this is the downfall.

The Staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. They made special arrangements for my wife and I as we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. All the staff was very friendly.

This property was not prepared for a busy stay. There was no where to get anything to drink like water! All they had was room temp lemon water that sat out all day. Then when we arrived 45 min before check out they tried to make us pay an early check in fee as if the room was not ready! THEN they were so busy telling us about an early check in fee that they did not tell us we had to REQUEST for our room to be cleaned. So we had to stay in a dirty room for 2 days. Smh not only that we had to request clean towels as well!! The best part about this hotel is the rooftop. Highly not recommend

Overall, this hotel was "ok." The location was convenient, and parking was convenient to the hotel. The linens and beds were very clean. However, the lobby area was poorly organized and maintained, with the associates appearing as though they were standing at temporary podiums. I wasn't sure if this was a hotel check-in or a hostess waiting to seat us ... esp. after they handed us a plain white envelope with copied instructions for the garage (additional fee). The carpeting throughout was warn, stained, and coming off the ground, with particular damage near elevator doors. An additional charge of $20 for breakfast is out of step with the hotel industry. Overall, I would say the hotel has potential, but we almost left to stay at one of its many competitors.

I loved the room the most. the decor is not basic nor is it overwhelming. the bathtub was amazing. bed was clean and comfortable. pillows were too flat for me but to each his own.
